Heavier than the older ReyBan Balarama sunglasses

With the heavier design I find it hard to pop them up onto the top of my head when entering indoors. The non polarized lenses are very easy on the eyes, colors seem natural and true.I would and will buy them again. I am sure they will last the 25 plus years my first pair of Balaramas lasted

Cool in 1971 and just as cool today!!! I’ve owned a pair for 25 years and worn them constantly. Love the look and the practicality.Classic transcends trends. Although I don’t look as good as Clint Eastwood in them, they do elevate the imagd of a regular guy like me.

So here’s the honest truth, they are a little different from the original Balorama RB I had purchased early 90s, the lenses were glass.These have a lighter plastic feel too them,but overall these are pretty cool and sturdy I really like these (Polarized Balorama RB-4089 they’re light and they kept the olive green color tint lenses.I recommend these if nobody minds the lighter feel to them. and little pricey..

Genuine Ray-Ban G-15 polarized lenses. I have owned this style of sunglasses for nearly 40 years. The best and never out of style. When ordering be sure you select “polarized” because there is a non-polarized cheaper version. Not sure why?

Ray-Ban Reigns Supreme!

I have always been an Oakley guy, but then I saw the movie Ford vs. Ferrari and I got hooked on Christian Bale's shades. When I heard that Dirty Harry also wore these in that 1971 classic, I had to have them.I could tell immediately upon taking these out of their case that they are much higher quality of materials and construction than my trusty Oakley's. I also was able to get these at a 20% discount too, so they really were a great value for the money. I opted for the polarized version since all of my sunglasses are. I like to fish so fishermen out there will understand what I'm saying. Needless to say, these do an amazing job at blocking sun glare.Long story short, if you are on the fence about buying these, just spend the extra money and get them. They are totally worth it, and you will get to look like a celebrity. LOL! When I am driving my car, I seriously feel like I'm Christian Bale racing in Le Man's. Ha ha!

Packaging was roughed up so I was worried. Not an issue. Good quality, sturdy. Glass in pristine condition. Little tight on me but not so I can’t wear them all day fishing. Most sunglasses are tight on my noggin. A few mm wider and these would be perfect.

Love the way that they fit.

Had progressive lenses fitted that cost an additional $540.00. They added polarization that made the green lenses slightly darker, but necessary for bright surfaces to improve visibility.

I really like these glasses. Although they are much different than the ones sold in the 80s and 90s which were much heavier. These are lighter and similar to the ones I’ve had in the past. This makes me question the products authenticity.

Super Cool

I'm on my third pair. I love these sun glasses. I was careless with the first pair and they fell and hit the ground. The second pair got broken on a cruise so, I hope third time is a charm. These are glass lenses and awesome UV protection, but will scratch and if they hit the ground hard will break so, be careful and they'll last a lifetime. Great for any activities that wind is a factor as they will not fall off with there wrap around design. Ray Ban will replace the lenses if you choose that route although that's the expensive part of any quality sunglasses.

Like the shape, good crossover for construction

Run a little small ...... which works for me. Like I don't have the popular version EVERYONE has. I have to stop by construction sites with PPE from time to time and they don't stick out given the shape as well. Only slight complaint...... may just be me ...... they are a bit heavier than used to.

Somehow I lost my first ones after wearing them for several years. Recently I decided to make my day by buying a second pair. A fair price and quick delivery was a bonus.

These are a really manly pair of glasses. In today's hypersensitive climate, some might say, too manly. I probably have an average sized head and these fit quite well. The quality is top notch. I was hesitant about getting polarized lenses as I have a pair of Gargoyles (cheap new ones that are effectively garbage compared to what they used to produce) that are polarized that I don't like, but high quality polarized lenses are clearly in a completely different league and are perfectly acceptable.Mine say they are made in Italy (at least the frame, the lenses might be US made). I bought them to replace another pair of Italian made glasses that are perhaps 20 years old (and are still fine). I don't know whether these could possible last like those ones have, but they certainly seem like they might possibly be able to.I recommend these.
